Electronic Theatre reports on the announcement that Kings of Leon and Rancid will debut on Rock Band next week, along with new tracks from Lush and Rise Against.

Harmonix and MTV Games today announced that indie rockers Kings of Leon and punk rockers Rancid will make their Rock Band debuts with three packs of songs that will be added to the Rock Band Music Store of Downloadable Content (DLC) next week, as will a three pack from Rise Against and a single from Lush, for the Xbox 360 and PLAYSTATION 3.

    rancid is cool. however, their songs are like 3 chords over and over most of the time. i was expecting at least maxwell murder to spite people with the bass solo

    I love Kings of Leon, but I don't think their new stuff fits with the whole Rock Band thing as well as their old stuff. Good job "Molly's Chambers" is in there...
