I'm laughing my ass off at that. So random.

I'll be looking out for this anime as well. I love animes like Death Note, Bleach, Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, Elfen Lied, and Fullmetal Alchemist.

I think I can safely say that this 'anime' will be nothing like any of those. =P.

Yeah...you know, I thought about that shortly after typing it.

So, this Halo anime is probably not going to match my taste. I like Halo, but I also like Devil May Cry ten times more, and that wasn't enough to get me interested in it's anime...

i liked DMC and i like the anime. its pretty awesome for just a mindless anime. i have Death Note for thinking animes, and FMA is pretty thought provoking too. but sometimes you just need a good killing and death anime, such as Hellsing or DMC.

I hope it's like the old Starship Troopers or Exosquad cartoons. Those were awesome.

Well, whenever no more milk comes from the utter, they go to the backside and sell whatever comes out of there. Not saying this is gonna be bad, just saying....

Mamoru Oshii's involvement automatically outlines the plot.

In the beginning, there'll be a massive gun fight. Master Chief will gloriously reveal himself in a hail of bullets. He will then turn into a boring philosophical *bleep* who spends his time questioning his humanity and finding ways to justify his existence. He will also have various quips analysing the purpose of war and the role of technology in everyday life. In the end, he'll make a massive sacrifice for some meaningful purpose. That's just how Oshii rolls.

i just saw a trailer about it and its not all anime. its like Animatrix, or Batman Gotham Knight in that its a collection of a handful of short "films" done by different artists and such. some is anime, some is CGI (pretty good looking from what i could see), and one looked sorta colored-pencilish.

so its not just an anime series based on Halo.

Yes, this is very good. If Halo ever had one strong point that stood out beyond all else, it was storyline.

    Oh... wait...
