RatedG4Gamer have Confirmed the first 9 releases for the XBOX 360's new service "Games on Demend" which allows you to download full retail Xbox 360 titles. Games on Demand is set for a worldwide release over Xbox Live on the 12th of August.

It's safe to say August 12th 2009 will go down in the Avatar history books (albeit teeny tiny history books), but it will also be a landmark day for gamers with the introduction of a brand new way to access and play your Xbox 360 games: Games on Demand.         I still don't understand how a news story confirming a service that launched August 11th WITH the games the article is confirming was approved?

          The story was originally approved weeks ago. Another approver then sent it to the queue the other day for a spelling error, asking for it to be fixed, after which it was re-approved. Because of this, it showed up on the front page yesterday (articles show up when they're approved, regardless of how many times they've been approved before). This isn't standard practice...
