SECTION 8 to use new X SERVER's for the XBOX 360

South Peak has just revealed that they will break new ground, letting Xbox 360 owners to create dedicated servers using Windows based PC's. These are X Servers and can handle up to 32 players and will be free at launch when section 8 hits store shelves September 1st 2009.

An X Server can handle up to 32 players at once, resulting in one of the largest multiplayer games currently available on the Xbox 360. The X server software will be distributed free of charge* upon Section 8’s launch. Meanwhile, PC gamers can also run dedicated servers for the PC version of the game allowing up to 40 simultaneous players. More information and availability of the X Server and PC Server software will be available at launch on www.joinsection8.com.

      MAG is a PS3 exclusive, isn't it? The article said one of the largest for the Xbox 360.

    This would be good, if the game didn't look like Repetitive Sci-Fi Shooter 6.

    Beta is awesome for the PC. Looking forward to it coming out on 360.
