Electronic Theatre reports on the announcement by SEGA of a new patch set to release for The Creative Assembly's Empire: Total War, known as "Update 1.4".

SEGA Europe Ltd. today announced "Update 1.4" for the critically acclaimed Empire: Total War will be available late September. The update includes an overhaul of the Artificial Intelligence, implemented both on the campaign map and in the real time battles. In addition to this, improvements have been made to sieges and naval battles, which have been rebalanced for an especially absorbing experience.
