This week brings a grand total of eight games to Nintendo's downloadable services this week, with the sequel to one of WiiWare's launch titles, LostWinds, becoming available for download. Hudson brings a quirky arcade shooting title to the mix, and NHK's Domo invades DSiWare.

The first WiiWare title is LostWinds: Winter of the Melodias from Frontier Entertainment. Taking place after the events of the first title with Toku and Enril to save Toku's mother Magdi. LostWinds's impressive platforming mechanics return now with the ability to affect the world's seasons.

The other WiiWare title is Hudson Entertainment's Shootanto: Evolutionary Mayhem. Battle for the future of the world as your character evolves throughout the game, from the prehistoric mayhem of hand-throwing rocks to the use of more modern projectiles to shoot down enemies.


There are a grand total of five DSiWare titles this week starring Japanese television station NHK's Domo character (seen right). Domo takes part in various games and activities from golf to racing to trying to be a rock star.

The Virtual Console title this week is the arcade version of Tecmo's Rygar. Armed with the legendary Diskarmor, Rygar needs to save the human race from the Beast Lord that has suppressed the human race.

Next, Shootanto: Evolutionary Mayhem makes survival of the fittest the law of the land. Meanwhile, Nintendo DSiWare™ welcomes Domo™, a strange creature who hatched from an egg. Also known as the popular mascot of Japan's NHK television station, Domo stars in five separate new Nintendo DSiWare games. Topping it off is RYGAR™, a 1980s arcade gem making its Virtual Console™ debut.
