While Sony had already revealed that From Software's quirky and awesome-looking new title, 3D Dot Game Heroes for the PlayStation 3, is coming to North America, we did not know the publisher. In an e-mail sent out to the their Faithful mailing list, Atlus USA has announced that they will be publishing From Software's Zelda-alike. The game will hit retail shelves on May 11, 2010, for $39.99 USD.

In 3D Dot Game Heroes, the once 2D Kingdom of Dotnia gets a 3D facelift from a king who wishes for more prosperity for his lands. Oh, and there's some world-saving to be had for our completely-customizable hero.

The game's official site can be found here.

It's from the Demon's Souls developer so I'd be sold if I had a PS3.
Very happy to see Atlus continue their relationship with them. Looks like it could work well on DS/PSP...

Atlus seem to be publishing a ton of stuff this past year -- congrats to 'em.

Technically, From Software isn't the developer; it's Silicon Studio. From Software just published 3D Dot Game Heroes in Japan.

Ohh sorry. I did find that a bit weird.
        Looks great, anyway.

Damn you Atlus for knowing my price points.

I remember thinking "This game is growing on me... a lot... I'll pick it up if it's $40."

Nice, Not to expensive either. I'll wait to see some review though.

I'm getting goosebumps thinking about the potential behind that character creation system. Trading characters with friends, that's what Demon's Souls missed!
