I once saw the manager of Game refuse to sell someone Kane and Linch because he said the game was so bad he wouldn't sell it and made the customer choose a different game.

Kane amd Lynch personally was a game ahead of it's time. Visually it was nothing special but its story and themes were different. Personally I believe it came too soon when developers still hadn't gotten to grips with the whole cinematic gameplay idea. I think it's great that this is getting a sequel, it deserves a second chance.

I agree. The backlash the game got sure didn't help matters, like that controversy surrounding Gertsman's (or whatever the hell is name is) review. I thoroughly enjoyed the game, story and style was well executed, something you'd see in a action/thriller film, and heck, a film has gotten the green light. Whilst the graphics weren't spectacular and the gameplay a sub-par style of arcade shooter, the elements as a whole delivered.
