Electronic Theatre reports on the announcement of a release date for the highly-anticipated sequel to 2006's Just Cause, Just Cause 2, on Xbox 360 PlayStation 3 and PC.

Developed by Avalanche Studios and using the proprietary Avalanche 2.0 Engine, Just Cause 2 features over 1000Km² (400miles²) of South East Asian island paradise in one of the richest, most realistic game worlds ever seen. Snow-capped mountains, sun-kissed beaches, dense jungle and arid deserts create a stunning backdrop for a unique and compelling take on open-world gameplay.
