Are you ready to head out into the wild, wild west? Well if you are you have a long wait ahead of you. In an upcoming trailer for Red Dead Redemption Rockstar reveals the release date for the game. No word on specific day, but hey, at least we know its coming in April.

In a press release this morning, Rockstar games gave a heads-up that a new Red Dead Redemption trailer titled, "My Name is John Marston" is coming next week. While that's nothing to get particularly excited about, the developer also casually confirmed an April release window for the open-world Western. Previously, Red Dead Redemption was vaguely scheduled as an "early 2010" release. Check back next week on December 1st for the debut of the "My Name is John Marston" trailer.
