Just take a quick look at these screenshots, and you'll see that Hellion: Mystery of the Inquisition will be one of the most expected FPS of 2010.

Almost every game set in the medieval age was a RPG or something like that, why is that?

From December 08th to 10th Flying Fish Works will be presenting their upcoming product "Hellion: Mystery of the Inquisition" at the Game Connection, in Lyon. For the very first time the public will get the chance to be into an authentic and terrifying medieval world, and to be at war with the evil brute. "Hellion: Mystery of the inquisition" is currenlty being developed and will be released for Xbox360, PS3 and PC in Q3 2010.

That actually looks pretty bloody awesome. FPS though? Screenshots give the impression of a 3rd person action game. Either way the graphics look sexy and if it's in the middle ages then it's already got a leg up. Not too mention the whole exorcism and dark side approach they are taking sounds awesome.

Hopefully it'll be like a more realistic version of Oblivion.

Not really an FPS. It may be in first person, but there is definitely no shooting in the Crusades...

It's not set in the Crusades. Read the actual source material. It's based in England, where the longbow happened to be a pretty big deal in that era.

Ok my bad, but point is, with the exception of the bow, there weren't a helluva lot of projectile infantry weaponry. Mostly swords n' stuff...

I hope there are dragons to fight, something the PS3/360 Oblivion lacked, and something FPS's haven't been able to perfect in forever(dark messiah doesn't count, that dragon was wimpy)
