A press release regarding the release date of Call of Duty: Classic onto Xbox LIVE and the Playstation Network - both hitting later this week for a price of around $15.00.

Call of Duty: Classic, will be available as an individual purchase on the Xbox LIVE network on Wednesday for 1200 Microsoft Points, allowing fans to experience the original installment on next-generation high-def consoles for the first time.

      Good gaming bud of mine persuaded me to pick up the new franchise years ago, and I'm glad I listened. The WWII setting, MP, 'authentic guns,' etc., it really brought me into online gaming.

      it really is one of the better ones. I liked the original more than Cod 2 and 5.
