Electronic Theatre reports on the announcement that Tecmo Koei's Quantum Theory is no longer a PlayStation 3 exclusive, and hosts a fresh batch of screenshots.

Players take on the role of the massive, gun-wielding warrior Syd and will battle through intense action sequences in an unpredictable, shape-shifting battlefield, aided by the mysterious acrobatic Filena. Syd and Filena can perform actions as a pair - in some instances, these moves are the only way to overcome hurdles; strategically performing combos for a more powerful, fierce attack against colossal enemies. In addition to single-player campaign, Quantum Theory also supports four modes of online multiplayer, complete with voice chat for real-time communication.

Didn't think the exclusivity on this would last too long tbh.

Agreed, it just isn't popular enough to stick to one console.

No, it only works for games that are no longer PlayStation 3 exclusives. Obviously.

Y'know, I want to say I'm disappointed, I really do...but I just can't. I don't think I ever once had a good outlook for this game to begin with...

When they say "great deal of encouragement for co-operative gameplay between the player and their artificial intelligence teammate", I'm assuming that a human can take this AI's place at some point (whether it be offline or online).

Sorry if this is a redundant question, just seeing this game for the first time and it looks quite interesting.

Just based on the screens and target market, I wasn't doubting this would be an exclusive for a short period of time.

not really. ppl will still buy their preferred console even if everything was multiplatform. there are still die hard fans of each console that wouldnt consider buying the system of a company they didnt like.
