Electronic Theatre reports on the announcement that Multiplay has been selected to host EA's beta testing phase for Battlefield: Bad Company 2, which is due to begin today.

With 10,000 beta keys to give away and an anticipated 100,000 downloads of the client within the next few days, Multiplay's Fileplay site really has established itself as one of the key players in gaming file distribution. Multiplay has also been chosen as one of the few global providers of the official ranked servers for Battlefield: Bad Company 2. Following on from a long-standing support of the Battlefield series Multiplay is set to provide many thousands of player slots form launch.
