Mass Effect 2 - First Blockbuster Sales of 2010

Just one word to describe this game: wow. By reading the reviews, the notes and all of that stuff, you simply can't get what the game really is about. If you own one of the two million copies already sold, enjoy it as soon as you can.

BioWare has today announced that Mass Effect 2 has sold over two million units worldwide in its first week of release. Mass Effect 2 has been lauded for its intense shooter gameplay and deep, hand-crafted story, earning earned an average review score of 96! With this high score, it is the second highest rated game of all time on the Xbox 360 platform.

    Holy crap! 2million in 3days?! Does that even account for the Europe sales? Seeing as the game was only released here today.

    The games fantastic, I couldn't stop playing it today. GOTY 2010 for definite!

    Is that...accurate? Thats a shit ton of copies to be sold for an exclusive title. How many were sold on 360/PC individually?

    That being said, it completely deserved it. Tops the original is every way, and is the most fun I've had playing a game this generation.

      Too true! The game has been fine tuned since the original, so many things that I disliked about the first game have either been fine tuned or removed completely, having a blast with this one now, can't stop playing it!
