Darksiders 90-Minute Demo Announced

A report on the announcement of a brand new demo version of THQ and Vigil Games' Darksiders set to launch on Xbox LIVE Marketplace and PlayStation Network next week.

The demo contains the entire first dungeon encounter from the game, the sprawling Twilight Cathedral. This engaging and challenging level contains dozens of puzzles for players to solve, new pieces of equipment to discover and epic boss battles against the monstrous demon Jailer and the savage bat-winged Tiamat. Representing a cross section of Darksiders’ key features, the demo will take approximately ninety minutes to complete for the average player.

    Hahaha, that's awesome. Most demos I can get through in about ten to fifteen minutes, so one that's one and a half hours long will be sure to keep be interested.

    Hellz yeah, Ive been wanting to pick this up.

    I must question why the hell they intend on bringing a Demo NOW. Its been out for nearly a month now, and why 90 minutes? I feel that will slightly effect sales.
