Square Enix Ltd., the publisher of Square Enix® interactive entertainment products in Europe and other PAL territories, today announces that the eagerly anticipated FINAL FANTASY TACTICS®: THE WAR OF THE LIONS™ will be released October 2007 across all PAL territories on the PlayStation® Portable system.

From the creative minds behind FINAL FANTASY® XII comes an epic combat adventure set in the hugely successful FINAL FANTASY universe. Re-enter the world of Ivalice and experience a land of imaginative artistic design that provides a sumptuous backdrop to a politically charged tale, where two young men endeavor to reshape the course of history.
When the Lions clash, the land of Ivalice trembles. Have you the strength to wrest a kingdom from the clutches of war – or will this dark act of Ivalice’s history be her last?

John Yamamoto, president and chief executive officer of Square Enix Ltd. comments, “The strategic gameplay and exciting combat of FINAL FANTASY TACTICS: THE WAR OF THE LIONS is perfectly suited to a handheld system. It’s incredible that such an epic story with beautiful graphics, cutting-edge animation and a captivating score can be squeezed onto such a small disc. Fans of the FINAL FANTASY series are in for a tactical treat this October."

    Oo October ^^
I might get this game for my Birthday, but I'm looking forward to Tactics advance 2 more to be honest.
It looks like a better game overall ... plus I prefer my DS by a long shot ...
