Go Fanboy posted a press release from the popular movie service LOVEFiLM who polled several thousand of their users and members to see which videogame to movie adaptation topped the list.

In the UK, our friends at LOVEFiLM had wanted to poll their customers and users to what the best video game to movie adaptions were in preparation for this summer's blockbuster Prince of Persia starring Jake Gyllenhaal. So out of all the movies, which adaption topped the list? Silent Hill!?!?

    The saddest part is, is that there's not that many choices to choose from

    I mean you've got SH, then you've got Uwe Bolle movies, then you got Resident Evil, at least SH had the decency to be in....silent hill.

    EDIT: Oh shit, I forgot about Tomb Raider, wtf that movie was brilliant!

    The fact that Super Mario bros. is over Resident Evil Apocolypse really speaks about the UK's poor taste in game adaptation movies.

    I thought everyone agreed that the movie didn't exist and it was all just a nightmare?

    I'm still trying to figure out how people liked the Tomb Raider movies. All they had going for them was Angelina Jolie and the shower scene....and that was for the first movie.

      I only watched bits and pieces of the first and didn't even bother with the second. They looked like shit. And like you said, Angelina Jolie was the only hook.
