S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Clear Sky, the prequel to S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Shadow of Chernobyl, has a set release date of August 29th. For those of you who never got the chance to play the original, the games are first-person shooters set in the quarantined area around Chernobyl. This area is a radioactive wasteland full of creature, from mutant dogs to humans like yourself. The game was exceptionally creepy and the prequel looks to bring more of the same to the table.

GSC Game World, computer games developer, its publishing subdivision GSC World Publishing and Koch Media, a leading marketer of video games, today announced the planned release date for the title S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky. One of the most fun and atmospheric FPS experiences I have ever had. Put a lot of the really big titles to shame.
Looking at the screenshots for Clear Sky they sure are pretty. I hope the feel between Clear Sky and Fallout 3 aren't too similar.
Although Ill probably just end up waiting for Fallout 3.
