Just announced yesterday, a few details and screenshots have now also been spilled about the upcoming Wario title, Wario Land Shake as well as Rhythm Tengoku.

Firstly, Wario's game is single player. As you'd expect, the Wii remote is used, in this case you shake the controller to rattle enemies and grab coins, uncover hidden locations, and lots more. Seems potentially awesome, but really the kind of thing we need a demonstration video of.

No details on Rhythm Tengoku as of yet, but expect it to be similarly great to Wario's title. Wikipedia describes the series' gameplay as such:

"Each level is a minigame which requires the player to perform certain actions in sync with the rhythm to create a beat to go along with the background music."

The GBA version is a prize-winning title, so, should be good!

Wario will also get his hands on rockets and submarines and the Wii Remote speaker will play a part in their control.

Sidescrolling platformers are a lost art on consoles, I'll be keeping an eye on Wario for sure.

Liking the look of Wario, though some will question whether it should have been on the DS or not instead.. But saying that it looks like it will make you shake your wiimote a lot in the game (even having shake in the title), so we'll see how it turns out.

Wait, is Wario Land Shake going to be a Wii Ware game or a normal Wii game?
