Sony showed off Afrika at a show in Taiwan and player got a chance to pick up some juicy information. You are a journalist in Africa and your missions are sent to you through email. You then explore to take the photographs you are asked for, or go do your own thing. The photography aspect of the game is very realisitic aswell. You can change focus and aperture of the camera. The better pictures you get, the more money you can earn to buy better cameras. Also animals react very realisticaly and their is SIXAXIS support.
Sony brought Afrika to Taiwan recently to a media event and lets journalists check out what the game is about, I hope this means that the game will at least has a Chinese version. GNN did a little coverage of the showcase and has more details about the game.
As reported in the previous issue of Weekly Famitsu, the main theme of the game is Safari and you will be a photo journalist visiting Africa. At the start of the game, you choose to either be a male or female journalist and your assignments will be taking photos and research the lifestyle of these animals. Assignments will come from the headquarter via emails send to your camp, after investigating the map of the location and getting your equipments ready, your AI driver/tour guide is waiting for you in a Jeep. So for those who are looking forward to hitting the animals with the Jeep, you are out of luck. You can take photos from the Jeep or get down to be closer with the animals.

I doubt they'll have a demo, but if they do, I'd give it a try.
I'd like to give it a try, since it could actually be a fun change from 'regular' gaming.
I'd hope they mix things up a bit, like I said before, perhaps photographing poachers at work, or something.
And I agree with Gothic Girl. I hope this game gets high reviews. More of a reason for me to get it.
