It's been a while since it's being produced and they think it will be a gorgeous production and there will be awesome sales, because it has arrived earlier to the gaming market.
One thing that stands out of all, is it's graphics; if you compare the game characters with the original life characters, you'll see they are very accurate. As the source says "Each of the game's 85 fighters....uses more than 30,000 polygons and the ones we saw looked very impressive".
Another new that makes the game even more real, is the fact that there aren't any life bars, or anything in the display screen, You'll only be able to tell if your player is Ok or not, by looking at him.
Although it isn't the first UFC game, it will be definitely the one that brings reality back to life better.
The developers behind Undisputed game are aiming to set a new standard in the way collision detection is handled in console gaming. Throughout the trailer and subsequent gameplay there was not one instance of a fist clipping through the opponents body. THQ suggested that glancing blows--made possible with the improvements to collision detection--will also play a prominent role in game (though the speed of the gameplay made it difficult to view firsthand). As good as the collision detection is, transitions between animations (especially in the standup) could be smoother, but this is likely something the development is still tweaking.
