Angry about all those animal games out for Nintendo consoles? Gammick Entertainment has just the thing for you: Animal Boxing for DS. The slogan is "Flip up your console and pull out your stylus… It's clobbering time!" Sounds good to me!

The game offers up to 50 different animals to beat the crap out of, for which you must compete against for the champion belt of "the Village." Naturally, different animals have different fighting styles (beware the "icy and unrelenting" Penguin!).

Animal Boxing is due out in the fourth quarter. By the looks of it, this one could end up being every bit of a classic as the Punch-Out!! series.

Tighten up the gloves, throw on your headgear, personalize your fighter and… flip up your console! Discover the new features of Animal Boxing.

Animal Boxing throws a twist on everything you've seen so far in Nintendo DS ™. Even on your own console! With the innovative system SD (Slam Down), the player can face their animal opponents without fighting dirty and giving low blows. The Nintendo DS ™ touch screen shows the torso and face of your opponents, which is where you must strike mercilessly… but also must be attentive to the unpredictable movements of legs that let them dodge your attacks!

Not my sort of game (don't like boxing, and don't feel like beating up anthromorphosized animals)....

i can totaly see PETA protesting like you said. that would be weard a animal kickin your ass during the game. Is there tag team have 2 on 1 lol!
