Rune Factory 2 details & screens

If you're excited to get your RPG/Farming game on, some news on the features of the upcoming Rune Factory 2: A Fantasy Harvest Moon.

The plot is such that the evil Sechs Empire has been defeated and the Kingdom of Norad has been restored to peace. But anyone who's played even one RPG that goes with this plot (or watches the History Channel) probably knows it ain't going to stay this way for long, and it doesn't: "dark premonitions" abound and it's up to you to find the source of them and restore peace yet again.

Over the course of the story, you will build and develop a farm, befriend townspeople, raise monsters, take on quests, and find a wife. Rune Factory 2 offers innovative Touch Screen controls, easy-to-use menus, and an all-new compelling storyline.

Wasn't Rune Factory 2 originally going to be Japan only? Has that changed recently?

Hopefully it's not too similar to Rune Factory 1. That game was fun but we don't want a repeat.
Anyways, I'll probably end up buying it when (or if) it comes out in North America.
