Finally: Fallout 3 In-Game Footage

zeazzz | July 14, 2008 | Previews | PC XBOX 360 E3 2008
Not only are the graphics looking spectacular, but the unique fighting engine is as well. Check out this newly released in-game demo for your very tiny taste at perhaps one of the best games of all time.
Cramming 100 hours of RPG goodness into a 3 minute demo is probably the worst way to tease gamers and fans of the Fallout series. However, we take what we can get, and what we have here is one of the most beautiful looking demos ever.

The Bloody Mess perk sounds AWESOME.

I sooo want to make people die in ridiculously violent ways.

I'm looking forward to this game, but I'm so far disappointed about how light the RPG elements look. So far it looks like a FPS with some RPG elements. Not an RPG by a long shot.

Yeah, I liked the second show more. It was so much more personal. Sense he's talking to only a few people. They gave them more time too.

It was interesting how he made that rock-it launcher. I wonder how creative it will let you be with weapon creation.

I agree, it doesn't look like an RPG at all but it still looks interesting, I will definately give it a go.

Hmmmmm... the idea of just selecting someone and then watching a clip of you shooting just kinda takes all the skill and FPS out of it. Oh well.

That feature can only be used a few times before it runs out, then it's only manual shooting. So worry not.

Don't base opinions off of these kinds of showings. You have to realize it's not fun or good for the product to have the guy playing just get destroyed over and over. He's invincible, and the VAT system is probably balanced differently to allow quick and effective kills. As you saw there was like 25% chance of a hit, yet he still hit them almost every time.
