An in depth preview of the upcoming PS3 horror title "Alone in the Dark", developed by Eden Games, and boy does it look good. Eurogamer detail the key improvements that the PS3 version has undergone and why the final result is worth buying.
Included are a few screen shots, courtesy of IGN, boasting the PlayStation 3's graphical capabilities. Right now this is summing up to be what looks like one of the PS3's strongest upcoming titles.

Expect Alone in the Dark to hit North American shelves this November.

"For once, PS3 owners should be grateful for having to wait ages for a game to show up on their platform. Because, in Alone in the Dark's case, this is no loveless and unoptimised port; this is the game it should have been in the first place."

Can't be any worse than the 360 version. That was one of the worst games I've ever played.

I swear this was released long ago, even for the PS3. Maybe that was Condemned 2 though, don't know why I always get those two mixed up.

This game was delayed for the PS3, many thought it was due to Eden not getting the PS3, looks like they just wanted more time to make this version better than the rest.

Intresting, I might pick this up now if all the glitches and such were adressed.
