If you've been eagerly awaiting the free PS3 Home software - here comes some good news. The Home project that promises to change the way PS3 owners socialize made an appearance at the German Games Convention, and it looks quite promising. Home has been confirmed a free service, even if it reaches a large user base, and will remain free as far off into the future Home travels. Martijn Van Der Meulen, one of the Home producers, says that they have no intention of making changes to Home once it's been released - at least as far as cost is concerned. More good news? Home will be released by the end of this calender year, 100% guaranteed is the way Meulen put it.

"Home. We've been waiting for it for quite some time now and some gamers were beginning to think it would never arrive at all. But here at the German Games Convention, Home did in fact make an appearance at the top of a stylish, multi-tiered patio structure built into Sony's booth."

"First and foremost, Meulen told me (without hesitation) that it is a 100 percent guarantee that Home will be released by the end of this calendar year. He has absolutely no doubt that this will be the case, so it looks like the long wait to come Home is finally reaching its conclusion."

I don't know, maybe you should give them a hand, seeing as you obviously have knowledge about Home already. I mean, it seems to me that they're just sitting on their hands for the sole purpose to spite us all.
