At C3xHOBBY this past weekend, Anoop Gantayat from AndriaSang.com had the chance to try out Namco Bandai's upcoming dogfighting sim, Sky Crawlers: Innocent Aces.
The short demo at C3xHOBBY showcased the game's impressive visuals and introduced the game's control scheme: tilting the Nunchuk controls the plane's direction, while tilting the Wii Remote controls the throttle. The Z button fires the plane's guns, while the A button activates the Tactical Maneuver Command system, which can be activated for an easy kill through showy acrobatics that allow you a clear shot at a targeted enemy. To use the TMC, a gauge at the bottom of the screen must be filled.
Sky Crawlers: Innocent Aces is set to release in Japan on October 16, 2008 and will retail for 7140 yen. It is being developed by Namco Bandai's Ace Combat team. The official site can be found here.
