Dragon Ball Origins - Demo Preview

With a rather comical insight to a new upcoming game in the Dragon Ball series, does this demo spell another success?

The first thing that pops to mind is the pigs... when did Goku become enemies with farm animals? Well, anyway, you may punch them up or whack them with a pole!

The demo is basically a game of "cat and mouse" as Goku attempts to chase Chi Chi. Once caught, she proceeds to fight you. After defeating her Goku will question her as to why she was running away, her reply is she was running to acquire her own copy of Dragon Ball Origins!

So, will this comedic demo turn into a great game?

A Dragon Ball game that isn’t a fighting game? That’s exactly the direction Namco Bandai went with Dragon Ball DS aka Dragon Ball Origins in other regions.

When you beat Chi Chi the Dragon Ball DS demo breaks the fourth wall. Goku asks Chi Chi why she was running away and Chi Chi says she was running to get a copy of Dragon Ball DS.

Dragon Ball Origins is scheduled to come out this winter.

Nice to see a game focusing on early DB, doesn't look too great though.

_{As much as I love Dragon Ball, I don't see this as being that great. I mean the demo description isn't that great.}
