Resistance 2: Single Play Hands on preview!

UGO's Locke Webster is one lucky son of a gun... He's recently got some hands-on game time with Resistance 2. While not 100% in love with the first game, it looks like Resistance 2 ups the ante in every possible way!

Resistance 2 is almost upon us. Among the litany of shooters and other action titles that we’re all anxiously waiting to be overwrought with this fall, Resistance 2 is making an incredibly strong case for our holiday dollars. Just last week, I went hands-on with all three of the game’s play modes (single player, co-op, and multiplayer) and I’ve just got one thing to say: Whatever complaints you had about Resistance: Fall of Man, you’ll be hard pressed to feel the same way about this year’s follow up.

    The first pic in the source is absolutely awesome. Graphics have improved.

    The forest, however, needs much work.

    Sounds like it's shaping up to be an A++ game!

    He clearly notes a massive improvement over the original, which I loved to bits. This one is going to be awesome!

      Gamespot also has a campaign hands-on, which I enjoyed reading. They also had a new dev interview with sweet gameplay.
