Gaming Verdict is a big fan of the Call of Duty franchise so when given the oppurtunity to take a look at the beta of the next game in the series we were very happy bunnies. Suffice to say, after seeing the CoD5 we still wear a grin from ear to ear.

If truth be told, I made very little effort in securing a beta key for Call of Duty 5. I thought I would wait until the final game came out at the end of November and enjoy the experience then. Thanks must go to the nice lady at Activision who offered me one of only a few beta keys left. Suffice to say the last two evenings have seen me venture back to the shenanigans of World War 2 with aplomb.

That read more like a description than impressions.

Having played the Beta for a little while, I have already gone back to CoD4. I think the only thing WaW has over CoD4, is going to be the map design, I was really impressed with that. The guns however, I know this is just personal opinion, but I prefer the newer choices instead of taking a step backwards. A lot of things about WaW are very tight, but overall it really is just a CoD4 re-skin/mod.

    Dogs are fun though.

Also, if people want to get under the map:

(I rather more people know how to do this than less people, sort of unfair for those that don't know)

    ^^^ I couldn't agree more.

I'm in the beta also and I have already gone back to COD4.

I have no problem waiting for COD6
