We uncovered some new details (and a trailer) for you over on Neoseeker yesterday, and now there's yet more information, courtesy of Famitsu (via IGN). The preview goes in-depth on the development team (Bahamut Lagoon, anyone?), goals, number of beasts, beast types, and lots more. Check it out if you're interested in the game!

Coinciding nicely with Square Enix's Monday unveil of Blood of Bahamut, the latest issue of Famitsu has come through with the filling for many of the blanks on the new project.

First, some background for those who weren't keeping up with the Japanese game scene late last week and early this week as Square Enix unveiled Blood of Bahamut. In this all-new DS RPG, players team up in groups of four to face off against giant beasts that span two screens. The game offers a variety of beasts of different shapes and sizes and features a mission structure, with a mix of story and free missions, all of which are accessible in multiplayer mode.
