GamingShogun previews Activision-Blizzard's upcoming Prototype. In the game, you play a man with no memory of what has happened to him. The worst part is that you have gained these bizarre, DNA-altering abilities which make you part creature from The Thing, part Spawn, and all awesome. The game is due out sometime this Summer and was recently saved by Activision after being abandoned last year in the dismantling of Sierra Entertainment .

The first thing that you will notice about Prototype is the ease with which Alex moves. Through careful studying of the sport of Parkour (free-running), the development team has been able to grant him a believable fluidity and agility to his movement. The movement system is promised to come quite naturally as well, as rather than using button combinations to achieve certain maneuvers, Alex largely moves with his own AI that understands how to pass small obstacles that you come across...
