Now that the Resident Evil 5 demo is available on Xbox Live, people will be wondering if it's worth the download? Here are gamecyte.com's impressions of the demo ... They say it's definitely worth it!

Communication issues aside, the "RE5" demo leaves me optimistic for the full game. The levels pit the player against constant swarms of Majini and a pair of deadly minibosses, ammo is sparse, there are lots of hidden tricks (try barricading the door in "Assembly Place"), and one's partner -- assuming you can talk to them -- feels like a genuinely helpful addition.
"Resident Evil 5" launches on March 13th.

It didn't get an average of 96/100 for no reason.
And it was Resi4 that introduced weapon wielding enemies.
For all intents and purposes, they are zombies. They walk like zombies, they attack like zombies, the sound like zombies. They just.. aren't. :3
It's more interesting than: "people suffering from the T-Virus".
Really.
Poor games? Ok if you call games like GOW, GTA, Kingdom Hearts, Soul Calibur, Jak and Daxter, Final Fantasy, MGS, Tekken, Burnout poor games, then yes I do like playing "poor" games. Not to mention two of the most overlooked games ever (imo, though obviously unless you agree then my opinion is useless), Beyond Good and Evil and Freedom Fighters.
But I guess that because YOU don't think RE4 is even close to the greatest PS2 game means I should bow down to your superior taste in games and give up MY opinion?
There's a link to the download on the dashboard and you don't need gold membership to download demo's.
Beyond that, I enjoyed the demo. It's going to take me a while to get used to the real-time inventory, but it only adds to the tension. I love it.
Now from RE4 forth, those guys obviously aren't zombies...since they never really died...they're just mindless hosts to a Parasite.
If you would remember, all those scientists were executed first by the Red Queen...pretty much skipping all the symptoms and going straight for the reanimation process.
And Seeker is exactly right.
Even if the T-Virus killed some people before turning them into monsters, the fact that some of them didn't die as you said earlier proves that they aren't zombies.
