Chris Plante provides this hand on preview of the latest DLC for Burnout Paradise, Burnout Party. He's convinced me that Burnout Paradise was an underrated gem of last year, in that it was one of the only titles to he constantly played since its release. After thinking about it for a moment, was true for me too - does Burnout still get love from your consoles?

We’ll get to Burnout Party, the latest addition to Burnout Paradise and also the focus of this preview, in a bit, but quickly, before anything else, let me use this space to assure all those gamers that have remained on the fence about Paradise. For those that haven’t seen the comments that spam every Burnout discussion, some folks were bothered, and rightfully so, by Criterion’s decision to have the driver double back to the beginning of a race if they want to restart. If you didn’t want to make the trek, you could always start a different race by pulling up at an intersection with traffic lights. However, the missing option was an issue for many, and didn’t seem unreasonable to add, even if it slightly discouraged players from spending more time meandering across the streets.
