Russ and the team received a big box of various Mad Catz Street Fighter IV controllers to put through the motions. Russ sounds off here with the pros and cons of each after fully testing them over numerous after work days in SFIV.

Street Fighter 4 is launching today, and unless you’re very new to 2D fighting games, you’ve probably realized that the 360 or PS3 standard controllers are simply not adequate input devices for these sorts of games. Capcom and Mad Catz saw this issue coming from a mile away and teamed up to create official Street Fighter 4 controllers to drop alongside the launch of the game. Mad Catz sent over a sample of each controller so we could put them through their paces, and now we’re passing the info along to you. So which controller should you get? Depends on who you are.

Yeah that has been my concern.....not sure I'm willing to buy another damn controller just to play this game though. You guys didn't mention if there is rumble support.....not to mention you didn't even show us the PS3 versions??

The second controller was a PS3 version wasn't it? It looked nice, but just like you said looks light, I would have so much trouble with it.

Oh yeah sorry, you're right. My screen is very dark and it was hard to make out the button names.

You shouldn't be apologizing over that. But if you end up buying any of them, you have to let everyone know how it is.
