After just recently announced by the Playstation.Blog, the PSP is getting a handful of new games. One of them is a the brand new Motorstorm: Arctic Edge. Taking one of the most brutal off road racers, throwing in top of the mountain and making it all portable. One interesting thing that can be noted in the trailer is a 2 brand new vehicles, the snow mobile and the snow plow. And of course, the trailer ends like every other Motorstorm trailers. How satisfying.

They really ought to have properly nailed the offroad gameplay before making the sequel and PSP spinoff. PR just seemed like no matter what, you were always driving on wet slippery mud; even if it was stone, you'd still slip around.

Looks really good. This, LBP, and Resistance Retribution on the PSP really give it a stellar lineup in 2009!

If that was ingame footage then WOW. If not its still really nice to look at. Hopefully they can pull this off, i'm not really one for the motorstorm games but i might pick this up for my PSP.

Motorstorm for the PS3 wasn't for my liking. I thought the graphics were stunning, but the gameplay was somewhat basic and left alone, and they used the graphics as a selling point. However, I can really see the Motorstorm series working well on the PSP, and if they are the graphics that were in the trailer, then woah, this is a buy for me

Something like a PSN download, that would be cool.

That's a great idea, nice thinking. PS3 could go for some good DLC.
