Originally released for the PlayStation more than ten years ago, Namco's Klonoa has been revamped and formatted for the Nintendo Wii. The best part about this port? It actually works on the Wii, and feels more polished than ever. In addition to the dramatic visual changes, an abundance of gameplay options have been incorporated, for those who don't want to use the Wii Remote all of the time.

If you like 2.5D titles, Klonoa for Wii is a graphics showpiece. The title now runs in 480p / 16:9 widescreen modes, of course, but more than that, the art and technology have seen dramatic improvements. The worlds and characters are more detailed, spilling with lush scenery like pivots and shifts as the plane rotates around with Klonoa's movements.

Might be worth checking out this Sonic the Hedgehog-ripoff.

Klonoa is not even close to being a Sonic ripoff.

    Very different mechanics.

Also, Klonoa doesn't play at nearly the speed that Sonic games tend to. They're fast paced mind you, but more of the aspects you'll find in a platformer are present.
