InFamous: 2 Great PS3 Games in the First Half of '09?

In just over a month (May 26th, 2009) the PS3 will launch another big console exclusive in Sucker Punch Products third person shooter inFamous. This just a few months after the release of Killzone 2 will leave many Sony fanboys asking for the first time since the PS3's release, “What game should I play?”

You are free to wander the Empire City ala Crackdown only you have bad ass powers comparable to Star Wars: The Force Unleashed.

    Killzone 2 > inFamous

    To call it a great PS3 game before we even get a demo to know how it plays is a little premature. Remember Lair? That was one of the reasons I got a PS3 at launch....I don't think I need to finish this statement. inFamous can either be an tremendous win for Sony, or an epic lose for Sucker Punch. I really hope it is good though.

      Thats just your opinion. I didn't like Killzone 2 at all. Pretty graphics, but very little variety in guns, and the most levels very standard in layout.

      But yeah, I agree that calling inFamous a great game before release isn't a good idea.

    I don't get one of the statements "Will leave many Sony Fanboys asking which game to play" . . . but Sony Fanboys will claim nearly all PS3 games are awesome and will try to enjoy all of them. So they'd always be asking themselves which to play . . .

    In any case, It's a no brainer to me. inFAMOUS is much better than KZ2 . . . IMO! I've never played KZ2, or anything. I've no desire because I'm not a shooter fan. So, it's inFAMOUS to me Of course, I could have waited until next year or something for it to come out. I'm too busy to play any games right now and already am getting R&CF:ACIT. This fall, yeah, but my time is limited and inFAMOUS . . . I need more time!

    inFamous clearly looks the better game to me. The whole moral choice dynamic and insane super powers, in an open world and graphics that make GTA IV look bad. I cannot wait for inFamous it will be a phenomenal game.

    Lol. It's true. Infamous is looking better than Killzone in my opinion, it has so much depth and replay value.

    This game is oozing a fantastic premise and addicting gameplay. I am really hoping for a stunning title here; and Sucker Punch have delivered with success before.

    This and Killzone 2 mark a fantastic start to 2009 for gamers. Now cmon Alan Wake...

    You can't really judge a game before it's release, but it is hard to see where infamous would disappoint to some.
