The first Hands-On with the English version of White Knight Chronicles is here, and it comes with a number of screens (attached to the article below), and with a 2009 release, it's definitely a game you cannot afford to miss out on if you're even remotely interested in Japanese RPG's.

See the Hands-On at the source.

Sony and Level-5's latest role-playing collaboration, White Knight Chronicles, has been out in Japan since December, but we recently got a chance to check out a partially localized version of the game at Sony Gamers Day 2009.

I have wished for games with graphics like this since I was young, sometimes I now wonder if there is anywhere left to go, and then I realize oh my god we haven't even scratched the surface yet. So here is to hopefully more beautiful games in the future.

By the sounds of it, we're looking at a winter holiday release. Was hoping it'd be sooner, considering the game itself is done, albeit being refined a bit.
