OXCGN Gives Its Impressions on Final Fantasy 13 Demo

OXCGN writer Ben Cadwallader gives his first hand impressions on the much anticipated Final fantasy 13 demo.

Check his views out, as well as some sweet images and a video including gameplay. A game many are eagerly awaiting on both PS3 and Xbox 360

The wait is finally over (kind of) for some lucky and smart Australians who have managed to import the Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children Complete Blu Ray Edition, which came bundled with the sought after demo of Final Fantasy 13. I was lucky enough to borrow a copy off one of these people, and I got to sink my teeth into the first High Definition Final Fantasy.

The second the opening sequence began, I felt shocked and amazed at just how beautiful the CGI looks on a 1080p HD screen. Everything looked as good, if not better, than the actual Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children movie. The attention to detail on the cliffs, forest and rocky surfaces was beautifully done, and it just made it so much more immersive on the screen.

      it's not how it 'look's it' show it plays which is the most important part of any game. It can look like a motion picture and play like - well - krapola.

      But this doesn't seem to be the case, so let's not make any assumptions until you actually play the game/demo.

        Yeh, what I mean by that is, from seeing what's there at the moment, this looks to be an alright game. I'm reserving judgement till it's out, of course, or till there's a bit more meat to the bones. But it looks alright at the moment, good enough. Not graphics or anything in particular, just the game in general man.

    I'll have to wait until this game comes out to actualy play it.

    But the graphics look amazing judging by the picture, I just hope it is actually a good game. Final Fantasy games are generally though so I can't wait.
