The artist formerly known as "Intern Perry" has started to post some of his adventures in E3, to start, we have a nice preview here for Katamari Forever. Go to source for full scoop, pictures, and video.
If you’ve ever wanted to see a cold-hearted, embittered Sony fanboy* erupt into an explosive nerdgasm with more confetti than a clown’s birthday party, here’s a tip: show him Katamari Forever.
Honestly, I’ve been looking forward to this game
since I first saw the trailer back in April. Now that I finally had a chance to play it, I can assure you it does not disappoint.
As expected, the intro sequence offers the same acid-laced—er—enthusiasm found in past titles. The gameplay is magnificent, the environments are zany, and the King of All Cosmos is still a narcissistic, yet lovable dick. It’s The PS3 resurgence of Katamari just as it should be—perfect.wrong-prince
Upon picking up the controller, the first thing I noticed was how smoothly the game plays. The controls feel better than ever and handle like a dream. Additionally, the player can now jump by simultaneously pressing the L2 and R2 buttons, flinging the Prince and his Katamari into the air, adding a new dimension to the gameplay. It’s responsive and useful. I’d high-five Namco if I could.
