Electronic Theatre offers a hands-on preview of Harmonix, MTV Games and Electronic Arts' forthcoming The Beatles: Rock Band, due later this year on PS3, 360 and Wii.

After many rumours, Harmonix, MTV Games and Electronic Arts finally revealed The Beatles: Rock Band in October 2008. The game was publicly displayed in a rather audacious manner on Monday at Microsoft’s Pre-E3 Press Conference, assisted by the on-stage presence of both Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr. Today, the game was available for the attendants of the expo to try for themselves.

    i can guarantee you all of the songs will be harder to play on the game than they are on their respective instruments.

      The most appealing part of the game is singing and harmonizing with others, however that is the LEAST used thing amongst gamers.

      As much as I love the Beatles, this is a definite pass.
