Final Fantsy XIV Preview and Inside Look At The Reveal Reactions

MattG, of HipHopGamerShow, writes about all the details on Final Fantasy XIV, and how the crowd at the Sony Press Conference reacted to the big reveal.

Well Sony and Square sure did slip one in under our noses didn’t they this year. In a year, where a lot of secrets dropped I can personally tell you that this game caught pretty much everyone in the Sony crowd off guard. There were multiple “Whats?” and cuss words yelled and mumbled when Jack Tretton revealed Final Fantasy XIV, and afterwards when he said it would be shipping in 2010.

    As nice as this announcement was, I couldn't help but notice that Square didn't announce Kingdom Hearts 3...



    And this article is a load of tosh, obviously written by the sites oh-so-subtle 360 fanboys.

    I was watching the live feed of Sony's conference and heard nothing of the sort.

      Well, didn't Nomura say that he would get FFXIII and FFvXIII done before completely focusing on the Kingdom Hearts series? Perhaps we won't see a KH3 until then.

        oo I was talking to the guys at the source.

        They keep making the claim that KH3 will be announced this year as a 360 exclusive.

          I wouldn't be too surprised if they released it to both 360 and PS3. But it will never be a 360 exclusive.

    Funny. I watched the Sony conference, and those "cusswords" sounded more like applause to me. Another hiphopgamershow.com attempt to spout anti-PS3 bullshit?

    I watched the whole conference in HD and stereo sound. There was nothing but applause and cheering when this was announced. There was no such cussing and mumbling.

    Like the 8 Part "Why 360 will dominate", HHG.com is hell bent on making the PS3 look bad.

    I never said Kingdom Hearts 3 would be revealed or that it would be a 360 exclsuive.

    And when I said cuss words I meant like people were saying "Holy Sh*t" and "No *bleep*ing Way" in a good way. No one was saying anything bad. I never said that.

    Also I was in the auditorium people were in utter shock. I heard people mumbling amongst their friends talking about the reveal, and I was one of the may who went "No *bleep*ing Way". Then we all started to cheer after we found out it wasnt a joke.

    Not exactly an new info there, but then I'm not expecting anything new till next year.
