Intern Perry headed over to the Natsume booth at E3 only to find a Harvest Moon game he hasn't played. Turns out it was a game he wish he had never played.

I can’t stress it enough. Harvest Moon Frantic Farming is NOT a Harvest Moon game. Instead of a boring, bland farm sim, I was presented with a nonsensical puzzler with loads of colorful characters and an adorable gnome willing to do all the work for me like some pointy-hatted Oompa Loompa. Why on Earth would I want to play a puzzle game when the fields need tilling, the crops need tending, and the chickens need feeding?

Natsume just doesn’t get it.

My 14 seconds with Harvest Moon Frantic Farming really didn’t show me much. Around second 13, I threw the DSi to the ground, flung my arms into the air, and stomped away in a huff. Still, that was plenty enough time for James to nab a couple of screenshots (one of which is upside down because he was so dreadfully bored).
