Left 4 Dead 2 is one of the most talked about games at E3 2009, with plenty of mixed reviews. Some gamers have already complained that it's too similar to the first game, but we're giving Valve a benefit of a doubt... for now.

It's definitely a riot, and there are already noticeable changes at this stage in development, like new Infected and wandering Witches. Expect Left 4 Dead 2 this November on Xbox 360 and PC.

Left 4 Dead was a bit of a sleeper hit, not what you may call an "instant hit" when it first debuted. Barely anyone was talking about it, and hype was practically non-existant. Once the demo hit Steam, the anticipation finally picked up, and the L4D community began to flourish. In Left 4 Dead 2, players are introduced to the Southern United States, four new Survivors, and updated mechanics. Oh, and the zombies have picked up a few new tricks.

Nice. More of the same isn't necessarily a bad thing when it comes to Left 4 Dead, though!

More of the same things we liked + A little bit of innovation = a good sequel. Too much innovation and not enough of what we enjoyed from the game prior usually ends in a bad sequel, maybe not a bad game but a bad sequel.

Exactly, That's what a sequal is all about, like the last game but with a lil more tweaking etc. Its annoying when people hate on a game for being a re-hash but then ass rape COD4, one of the most rehashed series in existence.
