Sony is the most powerful machine on the market and everyone knows that but XBOX360 isn't no slouch either. Game for game Microsoft proved even with storage issues that they can at least hang with the big black machine but with the introduction of Brink from Bethesda Software XBOX360 has rose to the occassion once again proving that the system has a ton of more power left.

Brink was shown behind closed doors at E3’09 and everyone single pair of eyes that witnessed this game were blown away.
Most importantly they were blown away by the fact that the game was running on XBOX360 why? Because it was the first time that Killzone 2 overall quality was displayed on Microsoft’s platform.

That doesn't even matter, then point of the article was that the XBOX can still employ graphics even as good as one of the PS3's most graphic intensive game was. Multiplatform doesn't change that fact.

Of course, if it actually does is another matter~

Though Killzone 2 was hardly pushing the power of the Playstation 3. Guerilla Games said on multiple occasions that Killzone 2 was only using about 40% of the consoles power, they could have made it look so much better given more time. Brink will look good and it is good for the Xbox 360 but it doesn't prove much as the Playstation 3 still has so much more left to give, i really don't think we have even begun to see half of what Playstation 3 is capable of.

Exactly my point fanboys and other people that's not using their brain don't realize that people said this level of quality and polish couldn't be done and now that claim is over with because when you guys see brink that's it your going too lose your mind

Thing is "gamebeefs" this game is on PC and Playstation 3 also. No one really said the Xbox 360 couldn't do this. When developers say certain things they pertain to things like physics, solid objects and AI. Killzone 2 has incredible physics and particle effects powered by the CELL. At no point did they ever say graphically the Xbox 360 couldn't do this, it is the post processing effects the CELL can prepare at a 7 core level the Xbox 360 would struggle with. Take Uncharted 2 for example graphically it is great and i believe wholeheartedly the Xbox 360 could achieve that easily given the right developers. What i believe it would struggle with is the number of solid physics based objects on screen, the draw distance and the AI which to be honest is a trait of the CELL's raw power.

    It is.

Couple that with the face we have only people's word for it and this story coming from HipHopGamer and I would be dubious at best.

Replace hip hop with idiot, gamer with fanboy and show with drivel and at least you, Mr. ILoveGodMan, won't be guilty of lying. It's still a sin, you know, and every time you post an article it makes Jesus cry

It is statiscally not possible, but games like Brink can always come close...

Until I see in-game footage of this game, I will take it with a grain of salt (especially coming from HHGS.com...).

Besides, it's a multiplatform game; the PS3 would look just as good if not better, so then "PS3 Quality" would just be raised higher.

That;s true, but anyone would try and make an article out of this sort of thing, only mentioning the 360 for a few hits.

So if the "XBOX360 isn't no slouch" then does that mean that it IS a slouch?

**This has been just another one of those 30-second knowledge enhancing moments here.**

Has this guy even seen gameplay yet or just the trailer? I had the chance to get a private demo of this at this years E3 and the graphics looks nothing like the trailer, if anything the closest thing that looks like gameplay is the concept art that's available.

It's asinine to compare Brink to Killzone 2. Here was the article on my impressions of the game: http://www.neoseeker.com/news/10912-e3-2009-brink-demo-coverage/
