Combine Halo and Diablo, You Get Borderlands

Rich Matney from Resumeplay.net focuses on Borderlands, the cell shaded graphics look great, the weapon customization is ridiculously high, and the loot should keep Diablo fans happy for a while.

I never was that great at math, but this is one equation that makes sense to me. The real question is does it make sense to you? Randy Pitchford and Gearbox Software certainly hope so.

    This is one game I first heard of 3 weeks ago, and its already piqued my interest. If it provides as many options and quest paths as Fallout 3, I'm definitely getting it.

    We need more RPGs with guns.

    I wasn't a big fan of the graphics change when they first announced it. I liked the older ones better, however, I am starting to come around to the graphics. I think it makes the game stand out a hellava lot more than if they went the realistic route. It was a great move IMO.

      Yeah, I was the same way. Although I would've preferred that the models etc. were still at least a little believable.

    Yeah, I find the idea behind this game interesting. Hopefully it plays as well as they describe.

    Yep, I'm also not a fan of the graphical changes....Makes it seem less serious ~_~

    This reminds me of the "Game X on Steroids" thing you hear a lot these days. Commonly games that "combine two games in one" tend to be uninspired.

      You have to remember, that is what sites like these write about it to try and get views. The developers haven't said that its like these games at all.

    Yes, I have been following this game for a long time and it seems like its going to be one HELL of a game.

    Only thing I didn't like was the graphics change but I can live with that because the gameplay seems so good.
