Looks nice, sorta like a serious, more realistic style take on Disgaea (and other NIS work), what with the game relying heavily on stats and equipment.

    Might get it, not sure.

This game relies more on player skill than anything. I mean stats and equipment play a part but so often through my own fault i have been playing level 1 part 1 beaten it so often and i am so powerful in comparison and they slay me with 2 well placed hits. That is what sums up Demon's Souls for me is that you can feel like a master and yet the game will swiftly remind you how much you suck at the game. My current save is 7 hours in to the game and i have died over 200 times easily, it's a game that really shows you how easy other games are i mean Ninja Gaiden on the hardest difficulty would be easy in comparison to some of this game no exageration.

Eeeew, I like some challenge, but that might be a bit much >_>

How does it control (like, does it play like an action game, or more like an 'execute command' type of style)?

Basically the controls are really simple, it doesn't play like a generic action game more like an FPS. R1 is light attack with a sword and R2 is heavy attack, L1 blocks with shield and L2 parry's the enemies weapon throwing them off balance if timed right. It is how the user combines these attacks with either running (holding circle) or walking as these change the power of the attack, you can also step back by tapping circle and roll by holding a direction and pressing circle. All in all this combines for a plethora of attacking/defence combinations, but because of the timing needed and the knowledge of what attacks work with certain weapons on certain enemies the game can always be a challenge. Overall the game differs from person to person and for you, you could play and think what i said was bullshit as you find it easier than i did, but you could quite easily be a better gamer than me.

I hate it when they do previews where they basically repeat everything we already know without giving us any clue if it's good or not...

The previews aren't always for the clued up. There are millions of PS3 owners who may frequent GameTrailers but not be so up on things that they know of this world class A-RPG from Japan. I mean to them this preview could have been their first glimpse at the future of RPG's. There are so many people that do not know about this game and it is crazy, everyone should know about this game it is that damn good.

I'm becoming more of a fan of Atlas, they seem to be pumping out one quality title after another.

This definitely looks like a game that I'll be picking up... maybe not at the $60 price tag.
