Electronic Theatre offers a hands-on preview of Eidos Interactive and IO's forthcoming Mini Ninjas, suggesting you're right to be waiting with anticipation...
First-and-foremost, Mini Ninjas features a striking aesthetic quality. A unique presentation reflecting both The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker’s progressive Cel-Shading arrangement and a western-take on eastern “cutesy” characters, Mini Ninjas is as pleasant to look at as any number of Banjo-Kazooie or Crash Bandicoot titles. However, while Ian Livingstone seems to insist Mini Ninjas has delivered this visual quality in an effort to please the 9-14 year-old demographic, Electronic Theatre would go as far as to suggest that late teens and early twenty-somethings may well find the pastel coloured world appealing too.
